We believe that God is completely holy; the Creator, Ruler, and Sustainer of the universe, existing eternally as the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
We believe that the Bible is God’s inspired, inerrant word to us and is our ultimate authority in all matters of life and practice.
the human condition
We believe that every person is created in God’s image, but is marred by sin and in need of salvation, inner healing, and hope to become fully alive and accomplish their God-given purpose here on earth.
We believe that Jesus Christ is our perfect, only life-giving Savior, offering salvation, forgiveness, and redemption to all who repent of their sin and place their faith in Him.
The Holy Spirit
We believe that the Holy Spirit lives in all who have placed their faith in Christ. God’s Spirit fills us, speaks to us, helps us, pours out the Father’s love into our hearts, and empowers us for life and ministry.
We believe that we as the church are God’s forever family and His vessels to enfold the hurting, to make disciples, to reach the lost, and to bring restoration to our broken world.
Embracing the Gospel
We believe that the foundation of the Christian life is the gospel—the good news that Jesus died on the cross and rose from the dead, enabling anyone who places their faith in Him to become beloved sons and daughters of God. Jesus invites us to live every day in this new identity, which brings joy, peace, personal transformation, and wholeness of heart.
Experiencing the Spirit
We believe that the Holy Spirit has been given to every believer in Jesus and that we can enjoy and cultivate an intimate friendship with Him—hearing His voice, being filled with His power, experiencing the fruit of the Spirit, being empowered for ministry, and being enfolded into a loving community.
Engaging in Mission
We believe that God invites each of His followers to join Him in His mission to bring His love and truth to a hurting world. Our belovedness as sons and daughters of God as well as the presence of His Spirit within us compel us to move with His love toward lost, broken, and hurting people all around us.
