Christ Community's Military Support Network exists for the purpose of showing the love of Christ to members of the armed services and their families at Christ Community, by honoring and supporting their dedication to serving our country. In addition, it has a vision for informing, encouraging, and supporting the military and their families in our community.
We're here to serve, to bless, and to help members of the armed forces and their families connect and experience the gospel in life-giving ways. This is an emerging ministry, so please let us know about ways you're willing to get involved and help us do this together. Also feel free to contact us if you have any questions or if you are a part of the Christ Community family and wish to put a picture and information of an immediate family member on the this page.
Your servant leaders,
Chrissy Menard (menardfamily4@msn.com) and Daniel Martinez (1dnlmrtnz@gmail.com).
Regularly-scheduled Events
As a newly-emerging ministry, there are two regularly-scheduled events ...
A Quarterly Military Connections Potluck at Zoe's, 715 10th Street in Greeley. The potluck is not only for Christ Community military families, but also a venue for connecting with members of the armed forces and their families in the community, exploring needs and ways we might be able to respond to them. It's our desire to highlight some military familes each time we meet, and perhaps feature a speaker or presentation. The next potluck will be: TBA.
A Monthly Planning Meeting, on the first Tuesday of the month at 7:00pm at Zoe's, 715 10th Street in Greeley. This open meeting is for the purpose of making plans for upcoming connections potlucks, assessing needs, and envisioning expanded ways we can be blessing members of the armed forces and their families. Please join us if you'd like to be a part of this emerging ministry!
