Sharefest Community Day
Saturday, September 17th, 8:00am-1:00pm
Sharefest Community Day is all about mobilizing hundreds of volunteers from the Christ Community family to bless the community in which we live. We take one summer Saturday morning to do this.
Some years we partner with local schools, helping to prepare them for students' return from summer by cleaning, organizing, or gardening. Other years we partner with Greeley's Downtown Development Association to plant trees and flowers, cleaning up vacant buildings, and painting building façades. And some years we bless the neighbors around our church by fixing up their yards and house.
VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES
Every year, we need hundreds of volunteers to landscape, paint, repair wash windows, etc. Below you will find more specific opportunities to serve.
Volunteers: If you, your family, or your small group would like to help our local neighbors, please visit the Spotlight Table in the lobby at the 15th ST campus or call the church office--970-353-1159.
Behind-the-Scenes Help: If you’d like to volunteer by helping behind-the scenes—i.e.: delivering materials/coordinating lunch food, trouble-shooting (answering questions at the job sites), or several other support positions the day of the Sharefest, click here.
Baking Cookies: If you would love to bake a dozen or two cookies for Sharefest, we will make sure people enjoy your labor! Cookies can be dropped off in the church kitchen starting Wednesday, September 14th. Please click here to sign up to bring cookies.
