EVANGELISM / NEW BELIEVER TEAM:
Members of the Evangelism / New Believer Team provide personal support and helpful information for people exploring the claims of Christ or just beginning their journey with Christ. The goal is to provide a safe and non-threatening relationship for each person who expresses a desire for help -- either in seeking Christ or after making a decision for Christ. Team members will either serve on a rotating schedule at the "Yes!" area of the Gathering Place after services, or in connecting with a person for a short-term period ... or both, if they choose. ALPHA GROUP TABLE LEADER:
Alpha is an opportunity to explore the meaning of life in a relaxed, friendly setting. The Alpha course includes ten meals and an amazing one-day or weekend getaway at the YMCA of the Rockies in Estes Park. At Christ Community, Alpha meets three times each year, once per week. Each session, people enjoy great food, laughter and learning in a fun and friendly atmosphere where no question about life or God is seen as too simple or too hostile…questions like—Is there a God? Why am I here? Where did I come from? Where am I going? Over the years, hundreds of spiritual seekers and new believers have benefitted spiritually from their involvement in Alpha at Christ Community. We are looking for men and women who can create a safe and friendly environment around each table for people to ask questions, consider the claims of Christ, experience the love of God and grow in their faith.
