VINES BOOKSTORE MANAGER:

Are you looking for a place to volunteer, plug in, and make a big difference at Christ Community? Do you like working with people and leading others in providing spiritual growth resources? If so, we’d like to talk with you about serving as Manager of our church’s Vine’s Bookstore. The Vines Bookstore Manager leads a team of volunteers responsible for providing core ministry resources and CD’s to the people of Christ Community Church in a positive, customer-service-oriented environment. In addition, he/she oversees the financial and ordering processes necessary for this to occur. Position descriptions are available in the bookstore or by contacting Pastor Bruce at bruceh@cccgreeley.org or 353-1159, x240.

SMALL GROUP LEADER:

Small group leaders oversee and facilitate a group of 3-12 people for the purposes of spiritual growth, life-on-life community, mutual-ministry and serving.  We are always looking to raise up new group leaders and birth new groups of various kinds.   Small groups are the heart of our church's ministry to people.  Contact: Dick Dougherty at 405-1120 / dickd@cccgreeley.org.

DINNER FOR EIGHT LEADER:

Dinner for Eight is a relaxed and non-threatening way to connect with 6-7 other people from Christ Community over dinner once a month for four months.  It's one of our core connecting ministries for people new to Christ Community and looking to develop relationships, but also involves a number of people who have been around here for awhile.   Leaders make initial contact with group members, and host and prepare dinner for the first meeting.  Contact: Monica Gerber at 353-1159, x246 / monicag@cccgreeley.org.

ALPHA GROUP TABLE LEADER:

Alpha is an opportunity to explore the meaning of life in a relaxed, friendly setting. The Alpha course includes ten meals and an amazing one-day or weekend getaway at the YMCA of the Rockies in Estes Park.  At Christ Community, Alpha meets three times each year, once per week. Each session, people enjoy great food, laughter and learning in a fun and friendly atmosphere where no question about life or God is seen as too simple or too hostile…questions like—Is there a God? Why am I here? Where did I come from? Where am I going?   We are looking for men and women who can create a safe and friendly environment around each table for people to ask questions, consider the claims of Christ, experience the love of God and grow in their faith.    Contact: Larry or Janis Pottorff: 330-7276 / pottorff5@msn.com.

PARTNERSHIP JOURNEY TABLE LEADER:

The Partnership Journey is a seven-week class that's offered three times each year for people to become more familiar with Christ Community, and grow in their personal relationship with Jesus Christ.   The Table Leader helps 6-7 people explore what it means for them to journey together with other people and growing in authenticity, Christ-absorption and compassion ... and, if God so leads, to become Partners of Christ Community.  We are looking for people who have taken the step of Partnership/Membership to provide a safe and friendly environment for people to learn, grow and experience community with one another.   Contact: Pastor Bruce Hoppe: 353-1159, x240 / bruceh@cccgreeley.org.
