About Our ESL Classes
English as a Second Lanuage (ESL) is a ministry that Christ Community Church has been developing since the fall of 2005. We began small but have grown to average 75 adult learners and many volunteers.
God has truly blessed this ministry. ESL attracts a large Latino population, as well as Somalis, Saudi Arabians and has even attracted a few from countries like Azerbaijan and Morocco.
Our main purposes in conducting these classes are:

l Build healthy cross-cultural relationships,

Reach out and build bridges between the different cultures
represented in Greeley, -
l Plant seeds leading to a saving relationship with Christ Jesus,

l Invite people to become a part of what God is doing at Christ
Community Church
Each class session lasts 15 weeks. Our next round of classes begins on Tuesday, September 14, 2010. Registration for students is August 24, August 26, and August 31 from 6:30-8:30 pm at Cameron Community Center (1424 13th Ave., Greeley).
VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES
Tutors: Help a group of adult learners learn English! Tutor training will be provided. Classes are held on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 7:00-9:00 pm at Cameron Community Center. Tutors need to plan to be there and ready to teach by 6:45 pm each night. Contact Katy at k_actosta@comcast.net if you are interested in volunteering!
