Mentoring and Teaching Opportunities

Adult ESL Teachers--Greeley truly is an international city with people from Latin America, East Africa, Central and Southeast Asia, and the Middle East. Many relocate to Greeley without knowing the English language. Christ Community hosts two 10-week long sessions every year free of cost.

Kid's Hope USA Mentors--Make a difference in the life of an at-risk elementary school student by spending one hour a week encouraging him and becoming his friend. This ministry enables you to make a huge difference in the life of a young person.

Teachers' P.E.T.S. Volunteers--Public school employees are often overlooked as people in powerful and influencial settings needing to be ministered to. P.E.T.S. (Practical Encouragement for the Teacher's Soul) is for someone willing to engage in a one-on-one relationship with a public school staff member and commit to serving that person in practical ways so that they are encouraged professionally, valued personally, and infused with the love of Christ.

VERGE Mentors--When students transition from elementary to middle school, they are often bombarded with a new set of social pressures and more challenging school work. By investing one hour a week in the life of a middle school student, you can impact the future of our community!
