These are tough economic times.   But even without an upside-down economy, we can often find ourselves in tough financial situations because of choices we've made, or circumstances turned bad.  

The truth of the matter is that God cares, and He's not pointing His finger at you, if that's where you find yourself these days.   He loves you and longs for you to be free from financial bondage ... and we're here to support His activity.  

But even if you're only in need of some "tweaking", are just getting started, or have never considered what God has to say about your resources, we'd recommend participating in the next Financial Freedom Workshop.

The Financial Freedom Workshop is an overview of the biblical financial principles taught by Dave Ramsey in his book, The Total Money Makeover.  The workshop is low-key, grace-filled, and non-threatening, and is open to anyone that would like to explore more fully the biblical perspective of debt, putting God first in your life, and setting up a basic budget.  

Personal and confidential consultation is also available, as desired, at the conclusion of this workshop, and the opportunity to get involved with others in a Financial Freedom Small Group.  

The Total Money Makeover can be purchased in advance at The Vines Bookstore.  You can also check out a number of the online resources and tools used by Christ Community's Financial Freedom Team at www.daveramsey.com. 

This 75-minute class is offered three times each year on Sunday mornings, and at other times as requested.
