Connexus Family Summer Event FAQs
What is the Connexus Summer Family Event?
The Connexus Summer Family Event is our VBS alternative. It is an event that engages the entire family in worship, crafts and Bible stories.
When is the Connexus Summer Family Event?
This event will be held on 3 consecutive Wednesday evenings. July 7, 14 and 21 from 6:30 to 8:30 (with an optional meal starting at 5:45).
Do I have to attend all of the nights if I sign up?
No. While we encourage families to try to come all 3 weeks, we understand that may not be possible for everyone. Your family can attend 1, 2 or all 3 of these evenings and still reap great benefits from it.
How do I register?
You can register at the 15th Street Campus or at Zoe's Downtown. Visit the booth in the lobby at 15th Street or the Kids Konnection area at Zoe's.
How long is registration open?
Registration begins on May 22. We will close registration on June 20.
Is childcare available?
We will offer a optional childcare for children 0-3 years of age. While we want this to be an event for the entire family, we understand that it may be difficult for small children to understand and participate in parts of this event. Please circle any children's names on the registration form that will require childcare for this event.
Can we bring our children’s friends?
Yes! We strongly encourage kids to invite their friends to this fun event. Any children you bring will be a part of your "crew" for the evening and will participate with your family.
Will food be provided?
We will have an optional meal available at 6:00 each evening. Families are invited to come and enjoy fellowship with other families and share a simple meal together. There will be a minimal cost of $2.00 per person with a $10.00 maximum per family.
Is there a cost?
Yes. There is a one-time registration fee of $10.00 per family. This is paid upon registration.
What if I want to help?
While we do not need as many volunteers as we have in the past , there are still opportunities for those who want to help. We will need teams for craft prep, childcare, food, set build team, drama team, and a few other miscellaneous things. If you are interested in volunteering please fill out a volunteer sign–up sheet located at the Connexus Summer Family Event booth in the lobby.
