English as a Second Language
Desiring to build relationships with the Latino population in Greeley, Christ Community's Spanish Ministries Team hosts two 10-week long English as a Second Language (ESL) courses every year. The classes--held every Tuesday and Thursday--are free.
This past semester, over 100 students attended the course, and about 15 Christ Community members volunteered to tutor them as they become more proficient in English. Students came from many different Latin American countries, Somolia, Saudi Arabia, and Azjerbaijan.
