Discover Your S.H.A.P.E. For Serving Others

At Christ Community we believe that every Christ-follower is a minister, uniquely designed to serve, contribute to a team, and engage in meaningful relationships with other people.     Every person plays a crucial role in God's purposes at Christ Community, not just those who are called "staff", or compensated for their ministry among us.   As a matter of fact, we believe that those who are in staff positions are called to equip and release people to minister and not simply do works of ministry themselves (Ephesians 4:7-16).

The way we talk about it is that every person has been given a unique S.H.A.P.E. by God, and their fulfillment in life, ministry and relationships is greatly enhanced by them discovering this S.H.A.P.E., and finding opportunities for advancing God's kingdom that are good fits for them.

The acronym S.H.A.P.E. stands for ...

Finding a Ministry That Fits Your S.H.A.P.E.

To find a place of ministry at Christ Community that fits your S.H.A.P.E., contact, it would be helpful for you to print and complete a copy of a Christ Community Serving Profile.   This profile isn't designed to "button hole" you, but rather to help us help you find a place in ministry that fits your S.H.A.P.E.   And if you aren't sure how to answer some questions, don't sweat it!

We're also in the process of developing a print and online catalog of FirstServe ministry opportunities especially designed for people who are experimenting with ministries they believe might be good fits for them.
