Being a 5th grader in Kid’s Konnection requires more than just showing up- the 5th graders at Kid’s Konnection have a higher responsibility; they assume primary leadership in the Playhouse every other weekend.
On the weeks that the 5th grade class is not the primary leadership team, they go upstairs (in the Playhouse) to “The Fifth Grade Room.” There, a leader will lead the kids in a discussion about the lesson learned in Kid’s Konnection that day.
In addition to the leadership the 5th graders receive during the service times, once a month they participate in an event called the 5th grade JAM (Jesus And Me). This is a monthly excursion for fifth graders only; one geared toward experiencing a spiritual truth in community.

The Goal of the 5th Grade Jam is to provide a supplement to the spiritual development of 5th grade students with in-depth biblical teaching, a once a month fun fellowship gathering and service opportunities within our local community.
