Western China Church Plant
Hundreds of square miles with only a few isolated followers of Christ. No known churches. This describes much of western China--an area resistant to the Gospel, resistant to even the simplest acts of compassion.
However, the Project Beyond team is committed to showing compassion to local residents in these areas, and they hope to encourage local business ventures through caring relationships.
A multi-national team of believers continues to establish a church where none has ever existed. The initiative has seen fruit from their efforts, but it has also proven to be quite dangerous--leaders in-country recently relocated because of persecution. Even through these challenges, they continue to pursue a ministry focusing on the outcasts of local religions.
