GREETERS/HOSTS

This is it...a visitor walks into the church building. The visitor has taken the first step--a giant step. They have overcome every barrier that has kept them away; fear, intimidation, social inertia, weekend distractions, preconceived notions and a million other reasons that have kept them away until now.  Now, this moment and this moment only, you have the chance to make a first impression that will forever color this visitor's opinion of your church.  A visitor's first thirty seconds in your church building is a time when you must get it right.  Be the reason a guest returns to Christ Community Church.  Most guests decide whether they will return within the first few minutes.

Each Greeter/Host serves as a vital part of the Christ Community Church Greeter Ministry Team and has the privilege of making a first impression to our guests, showing them they matter to us before they learn they matter to God.  Welcome our guests with warmth and friendliness as you serve them, answering their questions and connecting them with the people and ministries of Christ Community Church.  This ministry is strategic in the process of God leading someone to Christ Community for the first time!

Greeters/Hosts serve approximately once a month after at one of the weekend worship services with a team of other people.  If you are passionate about making people feel welcome and valued and have the ability to connect with people please contact Patty Pell at 970-353-1159, x203 or pattyp@cccgreeley.org for information to become a Greeter/Host.

USHERS

At Christ Community, our worship services, both at the 15th Street Campus and downtown at Zoe's, involve hundreds of people, and we need men and women who can help serve on teams as Ushers.  Ushers help make sure that everyone gets a seat and a worship folder, attend to any logistical needs in the congregation during the service, take the offering, and also get current Christ Community information into everyone's hands ... literally.

An usher generally serves in one of the three weekend services, for one month out of every two.  If you are interested in learning more about this important ministry or if you would like to begin serving as an usher, please contact Jamie Doddridge at jamied@cccgreeley.org, or by calling the main office at 970-353-1159, x201.
